He has worked in a variety of artistic fields, beginning as a photographer and cinematographer, expanding his interest to the entire film post-production process, becoming an all-around visual effects supervisor, blending science, technology and art in the service of storytelling, all framed in his specialty: photorealism.
Winner of the David di Donatello Award for innovative visual effects work with "The Invisible Boy - Second Generation." Over the course of his career, he has worked on numerous Hollywood films, including Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight - The Return," "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," and "Pirates of the Caribbean: Beyond the Edge of the Sea," among many others.

Internationally recognized as a VFX compositing guru, he has given masterclasses on photorealistic CGI compositing at major studios in the industry such as Pixar Animation Studios or Dneg to name a few, and at the most prestigious educational institutions such as Escape Studios and The Animation Workshops.
In 2016, he was invited to speak at TED, presenting his research and its connection to personal life, with a live demonstration of the visual effects compositing process.
