Davide Manca

Student of two sacred monsters of photography, Oliviero Toscani and Giuseppe Rotunno, the young talent from Calabria has taken care of the photography of many films, important formats and countless video clips and television commercials, but the major awards have arrived with the short films, appreciated at festivals all over Europe.
His first feature film was "Et in terra pax", a beautiful film that participated in the Venice Film Festival. The touch of Davide Manca is recognizable above all, in the various films, for "his" light, very particular, in which, according to critics, «he combines the lesson of classical cinematography with a very personal exuberance typical of advertising photography».

Special mention at the "Nastri d'argento 2011", Venice Film Festival 2010.
To date he has signed the photography of 27 feature films for cinema, of which seven in English and one in French for the foreign market with international actors such as: Gerarde Deparieu , Danny Glover, Rutger Hauer , Michael Madsen, Danny Trejo, Daryl Hannah ,Vinnie Jones.

"Lontano da Te" bilingual Italian-Spanish co-production MEDIASET.
Prolific also in documentary photography, among the most famous "Bertolucci on Bertolucci" by Luca Guadagnino; "Quando c'era Berlinguer" by Walter Veltroni, and "Ridendo e Scherzando" by the Scola sisters and still in the process of filming "Emanuele Macaluso" by Giuseppe Tornatore.
