Annarita Calligaris
Concept Artist, 2D/ 3D Lead Animator and 2D/3D set designer

Born in Naples in 1980, after classical studies, she began a path of artistic studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples where she graduated with top marks. In 2004 she began her path in 2D animation, later expanding her skills also in 3D animation and modeling.
After dedicating herself to the realization of small commercials and short animated films, in 2011 she starts her collaboration with Mad Entertainment as Concept Artist, 2D/ 3D Lead Animator and 2D/3D set designer. He then realizes various projects, among them on all the animated feature film directed by Alessandro Rak, "The Art of Happiness," Best European Animated Feature Film of European Film Academy 2014; the animated feature film directed by Alessandro Rak, Ivan Cappiello,
Marino Guarnieri and Dario Sansone "Gatta Cenerentola," winner of the 2018 David di Donatello for "Best Producer" and "Best Digital Effects"; the feature film "Yaya and Lennie - The Walking Liberty" presented at the 2021 Locarno Film Festival; and the animated series "Food Wizards" in collaboration with Rai.
Currently he continues his collaboration as set designer and lead animator with Mad Entertainment. At the same time he is teaching the Animation Cinema course at Comix, Italian School of Comics in Naples and teaching the Animation Cinema Techniques and Background course at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples.
