Heroes IFF School

HEROES - INTERNATIONAL GENRE FILM FESTIVAL which will take place at the Fiera di Roma reserves training, educational and Career Guidance encounters for students of Secondary High Schools, with particular reference to third, fourth and fifth year of study.

The festival focuses on the connections among film, storytelling, visual arts, digital and sound effects. The insight on Visual Arts and Audiovisual new professions is assured by meetings with international professionals. The screenings are all national premieres. All technical-practical activities and the exhibitions are focused in this edition on ART DEPARTMENTS IN THE MOVIE AND TV SERIES. Key-player is the great "genre" story: science fiction, fantasy, thriller, horror and cross-over (literature, comics and videogames).

Each educational day takes place in three moments: international MASTERCLASS, private SCREENING, WORKSHOP / VISIT to the exhibitions at the festival. The Enrollment gives access to all the activities foreseen in a daily bracket. The activities are available in limited numbers. There are two daily frequency bands: from 10 to 2 pm and from 2 to 6 pm.

Institutional and technical partners such a participate in HEROES FILM FESTIVAL with technical-practical workshops.

HEROES INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL is held within Romics, the International Comics, Animation, Film and Games Festival. Enrolment of the institutions is free of charge and entitles students to admission with a reduced ticket at a cost of 5 euros on the days of 30 and 31 May.
