Italian production designer Noemi Marchica works across film, television, series, and music videos, creating spaces and atmospheres that give stories shape and identity.

Her career spans a wide range of genres and periods: from her long-running work on L’Ispettore Coliandro to the contemporary worlds of SKAM Italia and Prisma, and the retro, comic-book universe of the Diabolik trilogy. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with directors including the Manetti Bros., Daniele Vicari, Manfredi Lucibello, Tiziano Russo, Luna Gualano, and Leonardo Di Costanzo.

For film, she has worked on titles such as Ammore e malavita, U.S. Palmese, Ammazzare stanca, Non riattaccare, Tutte le mie notti, and La guerra del Tiburtino III. Her work has earned her two David di Donatello nominations for Best Production Design.

Her visual research also extends into the world of music and music videos, experimenting with languages and spaces that go beyond the boundaries of the traditional set.

In the keynote “Production Design: Narrating the Crime,” Noemi Marchica will explore how production design contributes to crime storytelling: from research and the definition of environments to the creation of places capable of suggesting different eras, tensions, characters, and atmospheres.
