Bruce Morris
Feature film writer, director, and story designer, Bruce Morris is a master of visual storytelling. Beginning his career as an animator at Walt Disney Studios, he later joined Disney's story development team, contributing to iconic animated films like The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas, Finding Nemo, and The Princess and the Frog. A passionate advocate of the "Poetry of the Visual" and "Character of Dialogue," he has shaped over 14 animated features, worked on live-action blockbusters such as X-Men: Days of Future Past, and embraced virtual reality with Steven Spielberg’s Raising a Ruckus.
Currently, Morris is developing the young adult fantasy saga Dimitri’s Garden and writing the feature Betty 99. A former CalArts student and instructor, he is a member of the Animation Writers of America and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
