In Riverdale, a group of young undocumented immigrants are forced by a judge to volunteer at a creepy home for the elderly with doors that are always closed. Perhaps because when the kids open them--everything, even the line between life and death, is no longer the same? Blending zombie-movie and comedy, American Carnage is an unprecedented "genre" metaphor for the plight of Latinos in the U.S., entrusted to some of the youngest stars of the new Hollywood serial.
